Jeff Fassett

Jeff Fassett held the position of program Director for Aspen Expeditions/Rocky Mountain Climbing School from 1994-2006 and has been guiding in Arizona since 1995. Jeff is an AMGA certified rock instructor.

Jeff has been climbing and guiding in the Aspen area since 1989 and has spent most of his winters teaching basic mountaineering, technical ice climbing, corporate rope courses and team building from the Southwest to Vermont.
Jeff has climbed extensively throughout the American West. 

Jeff's climbing resume' includes numerous technical ascents from big walls in California, to the desert towers of the Southwest, as well as ice climbing and Mountaineering throughout North America.

Jeff is a "retired" mortgage banker and owner of Arizona Climbing Guides.

Geir Hundal

Geir Hundal is an AMGA Certified Rock Instructor and has been guiding with Arizona Climbing Guides for four years. His personal website is at www.geir.com.

Geir climbs over 140 days per year and has climbed extensively in Arizona, California, Nevada, Colorado, West Virginia, and North Carolina.  In his personal climbing, Geir enjoys long, committing back country routes.  He has guided clients both multi-pitch back country climbs as well as roadside crags, and enjoys teaching climbing as much as guiding climbing.

Heidi Kloos

Heidi has been instructing and guiding rock climbing and mountaineering since 1992, she got her start teaching for the University of Idaho’s Outdoor Program.  After a short stint at Smith Rock’s First Ascents, she has spent the last 12 years guiding international expeditions, and the 14’ers of the Colorado Mountains’ for companies like Aspen Expeditions, Adventures International, and Mountain Trip.  Her interests of late have taken her onto the bigger mountains of the world, she has been busy guiding peaks on four of the continents.  Recent adventures include climbs and treks in Nepal, Russia, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, and the ever beautiful Denali in Alaska.  Heidi is one of the few American female guides to have attained her AMGA Alpine Certification.
